The life of a man is a journey. At a point in man’s life, you get hooked up in a position and sometimes you get to a fair haven. The journey continues until you get to a desired destination God has prepared for you. Have you ever wondered why God did not just create us straight to our promised land? Why do we have go through one thing or the other before getting to our Canaan land. The reason God has done it that way is for you to know and realize that without him you are nothing. He has done such to us in the beginning. He created Adam and Eve into the Garden of Eden where there is no stress, no pain where there is enjoyment, but despite that we break the rule he set for us.
The
children of Israel were serving in Egypt for 400 years in slavery and poverty
until God decides to take them out. Then it was time for the Israelites to move
on. When it is time for you to move on, no enemy can hinder or halt the
movement. When God is ready to take you to another phase in your life, no enemy
or power can stop God.
Pharaoh
decides not to let the children of Israel go. But the LORD never allowed the
decision of Pharaoh to stand. If your enemy decides not to let you go, the LORD
will strike him with problems he will never forget.
Exodus
9.1 “THEN the LORD said unto Moses, Go
in unto Pharaoh and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of Hebrews, Let my people
go, that they may serve me.”
Is
God asking for Pharaoh’s permission to take his people? No, he wants him to
know that its time for his people to move on. When it is your time to move on,
the LORD will announce to your enemy that he is taking you away from him and
you are going to the next level. At that time, he wants your enemy to strive
and try all his power to stop you from not going but it will never work, then
your enemy will realize that the LORD your God is the most powerful.
If
your enemy is stubborn, then God will touch every aspect of his life like He
did to Pharaoh.
Exodus
9.3 “Behold, the hand of the LORD is
upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon asses, upon the
camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous
murrain.”
And
at the end your enemy will confess that your God is God.
Exodus 9.27-28 “And Pharaoh
sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this
time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. Intreat the LORD
(for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thundering and hail; and I will
let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.”
Your enemy will surrender at last when it is time for you to move on
and your time is now.
Stand in the Lord
for He will see you through. He knows about the problem you’re facing and when
it is time for you to move on He will take you in his hand and nothing will
stop you.
Remain blessed.
