Faith is a complete
trust or confidence in someone or something. It is also a strong belief in the
doctrines of our religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof. Without
faith no man can please God.
If you pray to God
for something you must have the faith that you’ve receive it, otherwise you
will not get it. The bible says in Heb 11.1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things
not seen.”
There is no answer
to any request made without faith. Faith is an important constituent in the
life of a man that wants to please God. When God told Moses to lift up his rod
at the red sea, if Moses does not have faith the miracle will not happen. Sometimes
your level of faith determines how obedient you are. Every miracle that happens
is backed up by the power of faith.
Heb 11.2 “For by it
(faith) the elders obtained a good result.”
If
you pray without faith it’s just a waste of time. It is your faith that will
move God to do what you requested of him. Let me give you an example. As a man,
if someone should ask for something and the person trusts you that you will not
disappoint, then you will not wish to disappoint the person because of the
trust he have in you, how much the Lord God that is not man and have everything
in abundant. If you believe that your request has been granted, he will never
disappoint you.
