This life is in phases and men are in sizes. God is always willing and ready to promote, change level, expand horizons, change your status and so on.
‘Dear friend, I pray
that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your
soul is getting along well’ (3 John 2).
Anywhere you might be
in the aspect of your life is not the peak. Your health can be better, as a
student, your performance can be better, your sales can go up, your profit can
increase, you can build your own house, you can change your car and so on. The
issue is you have a part to play before God can allow you to enjoy all of these,
because whatever you are not a part of, you cannot sustain.
The question now is, can you pay the price required to enjoy
all these? More often we fail to realize that achieving our dreams may cost us
something. Behind every great business, ministry, marriage, you will find
moments of sacrifice and discipline. Your aspirations will no doubt cost you
money, time, sleep, and even energy. It may cost you the effort of your present
situation. It may cost your food and some luxuries of life momentarily.
First, for anything
you want, if it is godly and realistic, you must believe that you can achieve
it. Then you have to sit down and count the cost. Thereafter, you have to weigh
all the costs involved and then make a decision to go for it. You must be
willing to persevere in the face of seemingly impossible conditions and
overwhelming challenges. Nothing is free. What seems free was actually paid for
by someone, somewhere. From today, approach life with this mentality and there
will be a great turn around. Good things of life shall not elude you. You will
never be stranded in destiny.
